House Raided: Saboteurs arrested, explosives seized

Badhaber police raided a house on Frontier Road, Sheikhan on Thursday and arrested two members of banned outfit Lashkar-e-Islam (LI), also recovering IEDs, rocket launchers and two AK-47 rifles from their possession. Police said the raid was carried out following intelligence reports. Two IEDs, explosives, 1,000 cartridges, two AK-47s and rocket launchers were seized from the residential compound. “We have arrested two people whose identity is being kept secret at the moment,” said a police official, adding both accused are associated with LI. The seized ammunition and explosives were intended to be used by the suspects in sabotage activities, he added.
