QUETTA: Two men, including a Levies official, were shot dead in the main market of Jhal Magsi in Balochistan on Tuesday evening.
According to Levies Tehseeldar Arbab Magsi, unknown armed men riding on a motorcycle opened indiscriminate firing at a Levies official and his relative who were buying groceries.
“Hebat Khan and his relative Gul Hassan were killed on the spot,” Magsi said.
Khan was deputed at a checkpoint in Sunt area, about 12km from Jhal Magsi.
Soon after the attack, Levies personnel rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies to District Headquarters Hospital for an autopsy.
The bodies were later handed over to their heirs for burial.
Officials have yet to determine the motive behind the killing.
