Six including MQM worker, Police commando killed in Karachi

Six people, including a Muttahida Qaumi Movmeent (MQM) worker and a police commando were shot down in Karachi.
MQM worker Raees Alam was shot dead in by unknown personnel within the limits of Pirabad police station in Qasba Colony, Orangi Town.
Police officials said that at least two armed men riding on a motorcycle opened fire at him. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
A Special Security Unit Police official, Hamid Aziz, 35, was abducted and killed apparently by a Lyari gang.
Aziz was posted to Sindh Inspector General police home security duty and was abducted while returning to his home located at Lyari after his shift ended.
Police officials said the deceased was receiving threats by Lyari gangsters.
Separately, two young men were abducted and killed in different localities of Baghdadi area of Lyari. The identities of victims are yet to be ascertained. Their bodies were shifted Edhi Morgue, Sohrab Goth after completing Medico-legal formalities.
In another incident in Lyari, nearly half dozen people were wounded in a hand grenade attack in Umerabad area of Lyari. The victims were taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi for medical treatment.
Separately, Sher Bahadur,60, and his son Riaz,35, were killed by Haji Muhammad, son of Bahadur inside their house located in Old Muzaffarabad Colony within the limits of Quaidabad police station.
The bodies were taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for postmortem.
Police officials said that family dispute was the reason. Muhammad had fled from the scene when police arrived.
