LAHORE:

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, central leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and Moonis Elahi urged Muslims on Saturday to unite on the occasion of Eid Milad.

“Muslims should end their differences and struggle for Islam and Pakistan,” they said in a statement issued on Saturday, a day before Eid Miladun Nabi.
Extending felicitations to the nation on the birthday of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), the PML-Q leaders said that the best way to pay homage to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was by practicing Islamic teachings.

“The youth should try to adopt Islamic teachings and focus on personal and national development,” the statement quoted the PML-Q leaders as saying.

“By practising the sunnah, we can overcome the problems faced by the nation and the country and stand on our feet and achieve a better place in the world,” they said.
