HYDERABAD: The 11th gadi nasheen (caretaker) of the shrine of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Syed Nisar Hussain Shah Latifi, passed away on Monday. He was 67 years old. A large number of people, including former federal minister Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, provincial minister Makhdoom Jameeluz Zaman, former opposition leader Jam Madad Ali, MPA Fida Hussain Dero and others attended the funeral. Latifi was laid to rest near the tomb of Bhittai’s father, Shah Habibullah. He is likely to be succeeded by his eldest son, Syed Waqar Hussain Shah. Latifi leaves behind a wife, three sons and four daughters.
