Honest and selfless leadership is needed to bring real change in the country, said Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman while addressing a workers' convention.

The convention was organised by JI Bin Qasim district at 'Masjid-e-Qureshaan' near Chirag Hotel in Landhi. It was attended by JI district ameer Muhammad Islam, naib ameer Syed Mufkhar Ali, secretary Mirza Farhan Baig, Maulana Ziaur Rehman and others.

Addressing the party workers, Rehman said that JI is struggling to impose Islamic laws in the country. The evil forces have the power of technology and the media while the upright forces have the real power of Islamic teachings through which they can rule the country and the world, he claimed.

Naeem said that JI was working for the welfare of the society and had left no stone unturned in order to provide relief to the people whenever it came into power.
