Raid exposes organised cheating
Identical answer sheets found; Lyari exam centre cancelled on the spot

Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ismail Rahu, conducted a surprise inspection of various examination centres in Saddar and Lyari areas, where serious irregularities were uncovered.
According to a spokesperson, when a large number of mobile phones and cheating materials were recovered from candidates at a school in Lyari, the minister expressed extreme displeasure and ordered the Chairman of the Matric Board to cancel the examination centre with immediate effect.
During the inspection, complaints of cheating emerged at several centres, prompting the minister to issue strict directives to concerned officials. Minister Rahu also expressed concern over the transfer of over 400 female students from 16 different schools to a single examination centre - a clear violation of rules and regulations.
According to Rahu, female students from other schools were moved to a centre in Lyari's Bahar Colony. Upon checking answer sheets there, he found multiple answers identical word-for-word, indicating organised cheating. Minister Rahu made it clear that strict action will be taken against responsible staff members. "No one will be allowed to play with the future of students."
He appealed to students to take their exams with honesty and refrain from illegal practices like cheating, as it harms not only their future but the entire education system. He warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone involved in cheating.
