Pedestrian killed, three bikersinjured in mishaps

KARACHI:

A man was killed and three motorcyclists were critically injured in separate traffic accidents in different areas of the city.

In Korangi Industrial Area near Bilal Chowrangi, a man was killed after being hit by a speeding unidentified vehicle. The deceased was identified as Imran son of Ishaq, a resident of Liaquat Market, Malir. He worked at a garments factory near Vita Chowrangi. At the time of the incident, he was on his way to work, after getting off a bus when he was run over by an unknown vehicle. In a separate incident on the Ayesha Manzil flyover, a speeding motorcyclist collided with a stationary trailer and was seriously injured. The injured man was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in critical condition where he was identified as 45-year-old Asghar, son of Wilayat.

Two men were critically injured after a water tanker hit their motorcycles near Chamra Chowrangi in Korangi.
