According to the health department, 312 children have died so far. They said that data of the deaths in rural areas was still not available with them. The department’s district officer, Abdul Jalil Bhurgari, said that children were dying due to premature births and other diseases. The judge inspecting the relief distribution, Mian Fayyaz Rabbani, has ordered a response for applications filed by lawyers against NGOs and People Primary Healthcare Initiative for misusing funds collected for those affected by the drought.

Its pity that there is a rule of death in Thar taking innocent lives and our leaders are least affected by it. We cried a lot when the terrorists martyred children in Peshawar but isnt our ignorance taking lives in Thar more brutal.I dont understand what is the problem in upgrading the local hospital, providing the children with food, vitamins and medicine and taking other necessary steps to control the situation. After all last year also things despite lately were controlled.I therefore request the powerful sections of Pakistan, who are most expected, to take notice of the situation and get the job done.May ALLAH ease this test of residents of Thar and our nation, ameen
