Delivery channel: Sindh Bank, UnionPay sign agreement
Sindh Bank with access to 111 cities claims to be the fastest growing commercial bank

Sindh Bank Limited entered into an Agreement with UnionPay International for issuing their Debit Cards. This milestone is in line with the bank’s vision by providing alternate delivery channels. This will also reinforce Pak-China trade relationship and facilitate Pakistan’s payment industry. UnionPay International (UPI) is a subsidiary of China UnionPay focused on the growth and support of UnionPay’s global business. In partnership with more than 300 institutions worldwide, UnionPay International has enabled card acceptance in over 140 countries with issuance in more than 30 countries. Sindh Bank with access to 111 cities claims to be the fastest growing commercial bank having earned profit of Rs5 billion in less than four years. While Islamic Banking has already been introduced; it is in the process of launching Microfinance Bank as a wholly owned subsidiary for which NOC has been issued by State Bank of Pakistan.
