Condolence: Sindh IG, PPP leaders visit Dr Soomro’s house

Elected representatives of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Sindh IG on Monday visited the house of slain Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam - Fazl (JUI-F) leader Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro to offer their condolences.
Dr Soomro's son, Rashid Mehmood Soomro, told The Express Tribune that none of the officials were willing to share any information about the case. Meanwhile, Sukkur Police claim to have arrested several suspects, including a renowned trader from Larkana, Muhammad Hanif Bhutto, his son, Serwej Bhutto, a police constable, Sarang Ali Totani, as well as Altaf Jamali and Darya Khan from Kamber-Shahdadkot, Shakeel Mahar, Khadim Mahar and Mushtaq Mahar from Shikarpur.

Sindh IG Ghulam Haider Jamali said Dr Soomro's murder was a high-profile case and every aspect was being taken into account.
