“The recent verdict of court martial on fake encounter of 2010 exposes the hollowness of the Indian infiltration claims. The violence in Indian-occupied Kashmir is the result of decades of repressive Indian policies and imposition of sham elections in IOK, an exercise in futility,” Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said.
Earlier, the United States on Saturday cautioned against making any assumptions linking Pakistan to the latest bout of violence in Indian Kashmir.
“India has to understand that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would accept nothing short of their right to self-determination, promised to them by the United Nations Security Council and accepted by India and the international community,” a Foreign Office statement read.
“Pakistan takes its obligations under the UN Security Council mandate very seriously, unlike India as manifested by its failure to implement the UN Security Council resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir,” the spokesperson added.
Following Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed’s three day-long rally at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore, Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin had said, “Extending these sort of facilities to a designated terror entity including providing train services, is nothing short of mainstreaming terrorism.”
In response to Akbaruddin’s remarks, Aslam said, “Pakistan firmly rejects the baseless allegations about “mainstreaming of terrorism.”
Reiterating Pakistan’s resolve to fight against terrorism, Aslam said, “Pakistan has been in the forefront of combating terrorism and is also its biggest victim.”
“On the contrary, if any evidence of mainstreaming of terrorism in India was needed, one only had to look at the perpetrators of Samjohta Express terrorist attack and its masterminds,” she added.

@p r sharma its possible to repeat Lies so much that you and everybody else starts beleiving it. But this does not change the fact! and this is only about FACTS, that india lack the crediblity for a showdown on Pakistan.
Cynic Waheed,,, Why you want to fight India in Afghanistan? Why not on the border face to face with mighty Indian Army, people & economy? Afghanistan is not your playground to fight games. Only those are welcome who help & cooperate with Afghans.
@ p r sharma - I was saying strictly in context of India - I as a Pakistani couldn't care less what you guys (India) has to say about Pakistan. As far as international credibility is concerned, we are still very much in the game. We have had hits in the past no doubt; but given the changing international scene, I firmly believe we as Pakistanis dont need to worry about at this stage. Right now we just focus on one enemy and their sponsor(s) - You probably got the hint, or may I spell it out for you? :)
Regards,
With 750m poor, what other excuse will quite them? It's an age old tactic India has been using on poor citizens.
@Cynic Waheed: " Who cares about what they say"- India says with supporting evidence and the globe cares . it is Pakistan whose version carries no credibility in the intentional sphere. OBL is the glaring example.
@Cynic Waheed: You have a point there, but don't forget... Indian poor masses are two-third of the total population and there issues are not solved, and never will be! They are in deep hole and it's not easy to get out from it. Playing the Calming-tactic of Fear "PAKISTAN" is a big "Distraction from Reality" for them, besides of course... The Bollywood's "Picture of India"!
Its old habbit of Indians - Anything happens in kashmir will be blamed on pakistan! Simple. If Modi slips off a banana skin in Kashmir, they will say the skin was planted by ISI! :D
Who cares about what they say - Let them soothe from their sudden departure from Afghanista end game! Poor guys, spent billions in Afghanistan so that they can encircle us - Now all are being washed asise so what what will they do? Exactly, all they can do is blame Pakistan for anything and everything - I understand their pain. :)
