Pakistan will become the sixth country to use the system

LAHORE:

This would include latest market trends, skill training opportunities in various trades and technologies, alumni records and technical vacancies.

He said all students of technical and vocational training institutes; employers and job seekers would be able to register at the portal. Sheikh said the initiative had been taken to provide skilled youth to search for suitable opportunities.

He said the system would also contain relevant economic data and information on employment rates in various sectors.

Sheikh said the system had been jointly developed and validated by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Tevta. He said the authority’s research and development wing had developed the system under the supervision of Chief Operating Officer (COO) Jawad Ahmed Qureshi.
