The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) introduced on Thursday a Complaint Management System, to help investors register complaints against brokers and trading rights entitlement certificate holders through an online platform.
It will enable equity investors to register claims/complaints arising out of transactions made subject to regulations of the KSE against brokers and their agents. “The Complaint Management System will benefit investors by ensuring timely submission of their complaints to the frontline regulator and their dissemination to respondents concerned,” it said.
In its initial phase, only investors will be able to lodge their complaints against registered brokers. However, the Complaint Management System’s scope will be extended in the next phase. The KSE said the second phase of the system will be introduced shortly.
