QUETTA:
A police sub-inspector shot himself in the head at the Bijli Road Police Station of Quetta on Monday.
The SHO of the Satellite Police Station Sajid Habib committed suicide with his own pistol.
“He was attending a meeting presided by the city police chief Abdul Razaq Cheema over the law and order situation,” a police official said.
Habib told his colleagues he needed to go to the bathroom and left the meeting, the official said.
“He (Habib) sat on a couch, took out his pistol, put to his head and pulled the trigger,” the police official said. Police declared it a suicide case.
