Two months later, Altaf calls for probe into Bilawal's 'namaloom afraad' comments

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Tuesday asked the government, security officials and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to investigate Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's "namaloom afraad" comments and respond in 15 days, a press statement on the party website said. 

On October 6, Bilawal in a fiery speech told Altaf to "control his namaloom afraad".

"The government of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, Rehman Malik, Qaim Ali Shah and Eshratul Ibad should investigate this matter in 15 days or face legal action," the MQM chief said.

Altaf further said that if PPP workers were harassed by MQM supporters, as claimed by Bilawal, he should provide proof.

Later on during the day, PPP leader Sharjeel Memon said that Bilawal did not threaten the MQM leadership in any way, adding that if Altaf Hussain decides to go to court then PPP will go to London with evidence.
