With severe drought sweeping the district, there seems to be no relief for the locals.
Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah had earlier announced a relief package of Rs0.2 million for the families who had lost children as a result of malnutrition and thirst.
However, these families are reportedly only receiving Rs0.1 million.
It has also been revealed that the names of some children who have died in the drought are allegedly not being included on the list.
The drought has claimed 94 lives in the month of November alone and it is the third consecutive year of the drought in the desert.
