Development work: 31 projects approved for Cholistan
BAHAWALPUR:
Commissioner Captain (r) Javed Akbar said on Sunday that 31 development projects had been approved for Cholistan. Talking to newsmen after a meeting of the of Divisional Development Working Party, he said a budget of Rs600 million had been approved for the project. He said a 200-kilometre road would be built repaired under the Chief Minister’s Cholistan Development. He said major roads in Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar were reviewed for repair in the meeting. The commissioner said Cholistan’s transport system needed to be strengthened. He said funds had also been approved for provision of missing facilities at Government College for Women Ahmadpur East and Government Degree College Baghdad Road.
