Tharparkar drought: With five more deaths November toll climbs to 94
Deceased include 3-month-old and 5-month-old infants

Merciless drought in Tharparkar claimed lives of five more children in the district on Thursday, Express News reported.
Two of the deceased infants, 3-month-old and 5-month-old, passed away in Civil hospital of Mithi while the third one died in a hospital in Islamkot tehsil.
The drought has claimed 94 lives in the month of November alone.
It is the third consecutive year of drought in the Tharparkar desert. However, the provincial government’s drought relief measures have failed to address the repercussions.
Sindh Health Minister Jam Mehtab Dahar had recently blamed Thari women for not considering family planning and giving birth to a large number of children which can possibly increase the chances of various problems occurring.
