KARACHI:

An anti-terrorism court rejected on Wednesday all applications, including the acquittal plea filed by Salman Abro, accused of murdering a teenager earlier this year.

Abro, who is the son of an SSP, and four of his police guards have been booked for the murder of 18-year-old Sulaiman Lashari on May 8. ATC-III judge Saleem Raza Baloch dismissed many applications filed by the defence and ordered framing of charges on December 4.

During a previous hearing, the court had reserved its order on the applications after both the sides completed their arguments. Abro had requested the court to acquit him and to return the vehicle used in the crime.
