In condemnation: JSQM protests crime

MORO: The Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) organised a rally on Wednesday against the increasing amount of crime and other social problems in Sindh. The rally started from Shahpur Jahania to National Press Club under the leadership of JSQM vice-chairperson Dr Niaz Kalani and party leaders, Mehboob Abro, Yaseen Malah, Jagdeesh Kumar and Habib Khaskheli. The participants staged a demonstration and shouted slogans against the government. Kalani said that robberies, kidnappings and other criminal activities had become a routine in the province while politicians remained indifferent. On Thar, he said that no practical step was taken to tackle the drought as the government officials were busy in their 'royal' trips.
