MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Acting Prime Minister Chaudhry Latif Akbar on Sunday requested the Foreign Office to take up the issue of cancellation of a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) rally in Birmingham with the UK government. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto was scheduled to address the Birmingham rally on Saturday, before it was cancelled by the authorities. “The UK government should investigate why the Birmingham police did not allow the party to hold the rally,” he said. He added that the Pakistan government should raise the issue with the UK authorities.
