ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will file a review petition against the Supreme Court’s November 6 order to take up the Prime Minister Minster Nawaz Sharif's disqualification case on Monday in the apex court’s Quetta registry, PTI leader Ishaq Khakwani’s counsel Irfan Qadir told The Express Tribune.
The PTI has already owned Khakwani’s plea before the apex court.
Qadir said although they could not get the court’s November 6 order but they have decided to challenge the review petition on Monday, adding that the review plea had already been drafted.
The counsel also revealed that another petitioner, Pakistan Muslim League–Quaid chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain will also challenge the court’s November 6 judgement.
Meanwhile, The Express Tribune has learnt that while Irfan Qadir has refused to appear before the apex court at Quetta registry, Attorney General for Pakistan Salman Aslam Butt as well as another petitioner, i.e. Gohar Nawaz Sindhu have left for Quetta to attend the Monday’s court proceeding.
All three petitioners claim the premier had first asked army chief General Raheel Sharif to act as a ‘mediator’ between the government and protesting parties – PTI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) – and to serve as a ‘guarantor’ to any agreement with the parties.
They alleged that the premier had later lied in front of Parliament and denied making any such request to the army chief and should therefore be disqualified.

A case agaianst IK that he lied in his form B when he didnt list his daughter and lied direct about his family must be registered and he should be dis qualified.
This case has malicious intent and should be disqualified. In the end it will be the PMs word against the COAS. Who will determine who is right, since the meeting was held one on one. If this going to be the benchmark, than Imran Khan should never be allowed to hold any public office or head a party since he lied when he said I will not leave without PMs resignation, yet he goes home every night and comes back the next evening. All the allegations he has made if he cannot substantiate with hard evidence should also be grounds for his disqualification.
