Canadian government would sign the Foreign Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Pakistani government soon

Canadian High Commission counselor commercial and political, Allison Stewart on Thursday encouraged businessmen in Pakistan to invest in Canada and said her government would sign the Foreign Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Pakistani government soon. “We would like to enhance bilateral trade with Pakistan. We depend on foreign investment and we are protecting foreign investment through our relaxed laws,” she said during her visit to Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SSCI). She said that Canada was one of the leading country in G 7 in trade and development and encouraged local businessmen to invest in Canada in different fields. “I am very much impressed by SCCI and Sialkot city.” Meanwhile, SCCI President Fazal Jelani said Pakistan and Canada enjoy cordial diplomatic and economic relations.
