ISLAMABAD:
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in collaboration with the USAID held the second session of a series of advocacy and consultative sessions here on Thursday. The session was attended by key stakeholders from the government, corporate lawyers and members of the bar association. Representative of USAID Asif Chishti appreciated the efforts of the SECP. Key industry leaders were also present at the session. Sitara Chemicals, CEO Mian Idrees as well as other leaders from the business community also attended the session. Introducing LLP as a new business structure is envisaged to fill the gap between business firms such as sole proprietorship partnership and companies registered. The LLP regime will provide platform to small and medium enterprises which would in turn increase their global competitiveness.
