KARACHI: Scores of people staged a demonstration on the road near Five Star Chowrangi in North Nazimabad to protest the killing of a man during an alleged police encounter.

The protesters blocked the flow of traffic on one side of the road, claiming the police had killed an innocent person in a ‘fake’ encounter. They alleged that he was shopping at a nearby market when the police shot him dead. SHO Nawaz Gondal said that a man, identified as Asad, was killed during an exchange of fire between police and robbers, adding that three robbers were injured by the police. He said that the victim was killed by the robbers’ firing.  An inquiry is being conducted into the incident.

The story on the news channel was so different that you would believe they were talking about two different things. The only connecting point is the name of five star chowrangi. Now whats the people to believe in this mish mash hash of story telling?
