Bullet-riddled: Young woman’s body found

Police say they will temporarily bury the body till the woman’s heirs approach them

MUZAFFARABAD: A bullet-ridden body of a young woman was found in the Balgaran stream, some 35 kilometres from the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. According to the police, the body of the unidentified 20-year-old woman had been shot at close range, in the head and chest. “The nature of the wounds and the woman’s outlook shows that she is not a local, however, we are waiting to receive the postmortem report to ascertain the cause of her death,” said the in-charge of Panjgrran Police Station. The police said they will temporarily bury the body till the woman’s heirs approach them.
