Cheating the system: MNA disqualified for fake diploma

MULTAN:

An election tribunal in Bahawalpur disqualified national assembly member Dewan Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari on Monday for having a fake degree.

The tribunal also issued orders for re-election in NA-153.

Bukhari, a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz member, won the election for NA 153 in 2013 general elections.

Pakistan Peoples Party candidate Rana Qasim Noon challenged Bukhari’s degree. Bukhari was disqualified on Monday and re-election in his constituency was ordered.
