Festive journey: 14 special trains to be run on Eid
One train would depart from Lahore for Karachi. Another service would run between Rawalpindi and Lahore.
LAHORE:
Pakistan Railways (PR) on Thursday decided to operate 14 special trains on Eid to facilitate passengers travelling to their native cities on the occasion. The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Railways Minister Khwaja Saad Rafique. Several Railways officials were present on the occasion. According to the schedule, a special train would depart from Karachi for Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Sargodha. Another service would run between Lahore and Narowal. One train would depart from Lahore for Karachi. Another service would run between Rawalpindi and Lahore. One train would depart from Rawalpindi for Multan. One train will depart from Quetta to Rawalpindi, Multan to Karachi, Narowal to Lahore and back.
