Sindh IG Ghulam Haider Jamali has asked the police department to develop a 'fool-proof' security contingency plan for the approved cattle markets being established in the metropolis and around the province.
Chairing a meeting on Friday, he advised officials to coordinate with other departments to ensure the safety of both the cattle merchants and their customers.
"Efficient security arrangements should be complemented with traffic arrangements to avoid any disruptions," Jamali said, requesting for security-specific surveys to be conducted of all routes towards the Super Highway Cattle Market and nearby areas.
