Relief effort: MQM sets-up four relief camps

Peerzada said they would be distributed among the affected on Monday.

LAHORE: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) officials said on Sunday that the party had established four relief camps for flood victims across the Punjab. MQM Central Punjab Information Secretary Umer Peerzada said it had established camps in Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Sialkot. He said MQM activists were collecting relief items for the benefit of flood victims. Peerzada said they would be distributed among the affected on Monday. He said the public had contributed generously to the initiative.
