An additional district and sessions judge on Thursday acquitted 12 men accused of murder after the complainants withdrew their complaint. The judge acquitted Ijaz Ahmed, Faqeer Ahmed, Mushtaq, Faryad Ali, Fiaz, Zia Ullah, Bagu, Ramazan, Shaukat, Zulifqar, Rafaqat Ali and Sagheer Ahmed after family of the deceased forgave them.Prosecution said a scuffle had broken out in a family near Burki police station and Rafaqat Begum was killed in firing. Complainant Subhan Ali had registered the FIR under Sections 302, 324, 452, 337 against the accused. On Thursday, Ali forgave them and told the court that he did not wish to pursue the case further.
