Time To Go Home: Four acquitted of murder charges

An additional district and sessions judge acquitted four men accused of murder after complainant withdrew the case.

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Thursday acquitted four men accused of murder after the complainant withdrew the case. The judge acquitted Khalid Mehmood, Sultan, Hasan Khalid and Mir Balaj after the deceased Mian Asif’s family forgave them. Prosecution said the men had shot and killed Mian Asif over a property dispute. Tibbi city police had registered case against them under Section 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
