‘Unconstitutional’; PML-N local leader criticises protests
The political instability being created in the country is a conspiracy against Pakistan
KARACHI:
The political instability being created in the country is a conspiracy against Pakistan by forces working against a united Muslim nation, said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Punjab Labour Wing president Mushtaq Hussain Shah. Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Saturday, Shah said that electoral reforms are part of his party’s manifesto and added that the prime minister will bring about change in the election process. Shah criticised Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s Tahirul Qadri and said that he has no role in the politics of Pakistan. Shah also criticised Imran Khan, claiming that his demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is both unethical and unconstitutional. “The protests, now in their 16th day, have caused huge economic losses to the country and the people are also suffering,” he added.
