LAHORE: Shaharyar Khan, the only candidate to file nomination papers, has been elected the new chairperson of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) by the PCB governing board, Express News reported Monday afternoon.

The PCB chairperson’s position had been vacant after Najam Sethi's departure at the end of July.
