Independence Day event: Hundreds watch comedy play at FAC
FAC Resident Director Tariq Javaid was also present at the performance.

A comedy play, Wardi Ya Kafan, was staged on Thursday in connection with Independence Day celebrations at the Faisalabad Arts Council (FAC). A large number of people watched the play at the Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium. The play, directed by Shahbaz Rasheed and Ali Zulfi, was written by Asif Raza Asif. The actors were: Zahid Bengali, Neelum Jan, Faisal Ramay, Sarwar Rahi, Sapna, Sehrash, Saria Mali, Sumera and Gogo Jee. The play highlighted the challenges facing the country, especially terrorism. MPA Surayya Naseem was the chief guest on the occasion. FAC Resident Director Tariq Javaid was also present at the performance.
