Peshawar corps commander says return of IDPs difficult until complete peace ensured

Peshawar Corps Commander Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani said on Thursday that complete peace would be restored under the Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan, and militants would be "eliminated once and for all".
He made the statement while addressing a ceremony in connection with Independence Day celebrations in an IDPs camp where he was the chief guest.
The general further said that areas from Khajori till Datta Khel have been cleared and more efforts are underway to clear the areas.
“Until ensuring complete peace, the return of IDPs is difficult,” he said.
