MINGORA: The total number of dengue patients rose to 69 in Swat this year, as two more patients tested positive for the virus on Tuesday. Roshan Ali, focal person for the dengue unit at Saidu Teaching Hospital, said Rahim Gul, 40, from Skha Cheena and Muddasar, 25, a resident of Faizabad, were diagnosed with the virus. “Of the total, 60 patients have been discharged after recovering while eight men and one woman are undergoing treatment,” said Ali. Unlike the previous year, dengue has not claimed any lives as medical experts say the virus has been milder this year.
