After following her father, boxer Muhammad Ali’s suit, as she came out swinging in the boxing ring, Laila Ali is all set to make her Hollywood debut this year. Her film Rising Falcon will release on December 5 and according to thekooza.com, she will be seen performing stunts in the film.
According to the IMDb, the film revolves around Chapman, an ex-marine in Brazil’s slums, battling the yakuza outfit that attacked his sister and left her for dead. The film has been directed by Ernie Barbarash, who has previously directed films such as Cube Zero, 6 Bullets and Assassination Games, which also starred the timeless action hero, John Claude Van Dame.
Laila started her boxing career at the age of 18 and since then has remained undefeated in all the 24 matches, which she has played. She won three of them by knock out and the rest by a unanimous decision.
Laila was titled the ‘Super Middleweight Champion’ by the International Women’s Boxing Federation in 2005 and earlier, owned the title of ‘Super Middleweight Champion’ by the International Boxing Association.
