Improved efficiency: FESCO implements electronic resource planning

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) Chief Engineer Akhtar Ali Randhawa on Wednesday hailed the implementation of the Electronic Resource Planning (ERP) system as a ‘milestone’. He was speaking during the ERP inauguration ceremony at the Fesco headquarters. Finance Director Iqbal Ghauri, Human Resources Director General Ehsan Muhammad Siddique and representatives of Abacus Consulting were also present on the occasion. Randhawa said the introduction of ERP would ensure timely and accurate billing. He said it would also enhance customer services. Randhawa said it would also lead to a reduction in overheads as the supply chain would become shorter and operational excellence, transparency and ease of auditing would increase.
