LAHORE:
Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday restrained a sessions court in Kasur from holding the trial of a juvenile rape suspect and ordered that the case be transferred to Lahore. The counsel for the 13-year-old suspect argued that Kanganpur police had wrongfully implicated his client in the case. He said the complainant and the suspect’s family had an enmity. He also challenged the sessions court’s jurisdiction to hold the trial.
