Pay up: Case sought against five defaulters
They are accused of not paying for 105 motorcycles

An additional district and sessions judge on Monday sought comments from the Qila Gujjar Singh SHO on a petition filed by the management of New Road Prince Motorcycles seeking a case against five people accused of not paying for 105 motorcycles.
Tariq Mehmood, manager of the company, said dealers Arshad Hussain, Ghulam Abbas, Mureed Abbas, Muhammad Sabir and Muhammad Saleem had taken 105 motorcycles worth Rs3,895,000 but had not paid the company for them. Mehmood said that he had asked the men to pay for the vehicles several times but they did not pay the money or return the motorcycles, when asked to. He said that the SHO had refused to register a case against the men. Mehmood requested the court to direct the Qila Gujjar Singh police to register a case.

An additional district and sessions judge on Monday sought comments from the Anarkali SHO by August 11 on a petition seeking a case against a person accused of obtaining money from the petitioner by promising to get him a job at the Lahore High Court. Nabeel Butt said that he had been jobless for several months and Malik Musharraf, the accused, had said he was PA to Justice Ayesha Malik of the Lahore High Court and could get him a job. Butt said Musharraf had demanded Rs50,000, which he had paid. He said that Musharraf had told him that he would receive an appointment letter the next day. Butt said he did receive a letter, apparently from the office of the home secretary, but it turned out to be fake. He said he asked Musharraf for his money back but he threatened him with dire consequences. Butt asked the court to direct the Anarkali SHO to register a case.
