Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Maroof Afzal, has approved the installation of tube-wells for provision of water to residents of Sector E-11 (Northern Strip). The chairman accorded approval for the installation during a meeting to review the progress of development work and provision of water facilities in the area.
He directed CDA’s Water Management Wing to install tube-wells in Sector E-11 (Northern Strip), as sufficient allocation of funds has already been made in the current budget.
Afzal was apprised that the water management wing, after a comprehensive survey of the sector, has selected sites for the installation of tube-wells. He was further told that after costing and estimation processes, tender notices for the work have also been floated in the media.
He also directed to carry out sanitation and maintenance work in the area.
