Step taken: ‘Privatisation to help growth’
The process of privatisation is aimed at helping to increase the capacity of the enterprises.

Analyst Nouman Wazir said that the privatisation process by the incumbent government is an appreciable step as it will help expedite growth and economic progress in the country. Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said the government should appoint professionals from the private sector during the restructuring process of state-owned enterprises so that they turn them into vibrant organisations. He further said that during the successive governments, a large number of people were recruited into state organisations on the basis of nepotism and political affiliations which caused a great financial damage to these entities.
