LAHORE: Six people were killed when two groups of Anjuman Tajiran, a traders' association, clashed in Raiwind main bazaar on Saturday, Express News reported.

The two groups, identified as Mian Mubashir group and Nawaz Kasai group, reportedly opened fire near Jamia Masjid in the main bazaar, killing five shopkeepers and a security guard.

Just a few days ago, on July 17, security forces had killed two militants and overrun their hideout located within a few kilometres of the premier’s family home in Raiwind in a 10-hour long shoot-out.

According to intelligence officials, both militants had hailed from district Okara and received training from Miramshah.
