KABAL:

A protest was held in Kanju, Kabal tehsil of Swat on Sunday by the families of ‘missing persons’.

The relatives, mostly women, started their march from Bandai and walked to Kanju Chowk, where they chanted slogans for their family members and demanded their release. The women held posters and placards in support of their demands, along with photos of their missing family members.

“The government should at least tell us where they are,” said Jahan Saba, one of the leading protesters. “Right now we have no idea where our loved ones are being kept by the law enforcement agencies.”  “We demand their safe recovery,” said another protester. “If they are not released, we will take our protest to Parliament House.”
