Vandalism charges: Gullu Butt sent on 14-day judicial remand
Police say they have recovered the club he had used.
LAHORE:
An anti-terrorism court on Saturday sent Gullu Butt on 14 days’ judicial remand. Butt is accused of vandalising vehicles parked outside the Minhajul Quran Secretariat in Model Town.
Police produced Butt before court and said they had recovered the club used to smash the windows of vehicles during the Model Town police operation. They said that Butt be sent to jail. In previous proceedings, Butt’s counsel said that his client had been implicated in a false case. He said that Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists had badly thrashed Butt first.
