Alarming trend: Dengue count rises to 22
The toll rose after another dengue patient was identified in Swat.

Yet another dengue patient was identified in Swat on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 22 this year. According to officials at Saidu Teaching Hospital, Ikram Khan, 50, was admitted to the dengue cell after he tested positive. “With the new patient, the total number of dengue cases reported at the hospital is 22. Currently, four patients are being treated for the virus,” Roshan Ali, the focal person of the dengue unit, told The Express Tribune. He added that 18 patients have been discharged after recovering completely.
