Pak-India relationship: IPCCI conference to discuss trade issues
Executive members to meet in New Delhi on September 12.

India Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IPCCI) President SM Muneer has said that the executive committee meeting has been scheduled on September 12, 2014 in New Delhi, on the sidelines of the Lifestyle Exhibition scheduled from September 11-14.
Muneer also said that the committee will discuss various issues pertaining to bilateral trade and economic relations between Pakistan and India in the backdrop of agreements signed for a liberal visa policy.
“Indian investment policy for Pakistani businessmen, agreements on redressal of trade grievance, Non-Tariff Barriers, opening of bank branches in each other’s country, mode of transportation of cargo through borders and infrastructure development will be discussed,” he said.
“In order to finalise the agenda and working papers of the meeting, the members of the IPCCI (Pakistan Chapter) will soon be called.”
IPCCI will soon issue a circular to its members to get their membership renewed so that the plan of their activities could be finalised and put up in the executive committee meeting.
The IPCCI was established under the agreement signed between Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Federation of India Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), which are the national chambers of the respective countries.
