Bitter end: Woman accused of poisoning husband

Police registered a case against the woman and her accomplice.

BAHAWALPUR: Police on Wednesday registered a case against a woman for poisoning her husband in Rahim Yar Khan. Rab Nawaz, the victim’s father, told police that his daughter-in-law had illicit relations with another man. He said his son Mumtaz had warned the accused many times to end the relationship. However, she had refused to do so. Nawaz said Mumtaz’s wife mixed poison in his food on Tuesday night. He was taken to hospital, where he died. Police registered a case against the woman and her accomplice.

This is great news! Being brave lion-type people, this is the sort of animal we should encourage our zoos to keep. I request and pray that all Pakistani zoos replace all animals, birds, and reptile with lion-type animals, preferably tigers. And please - no Indian tigers. We need pure-bred Arabian desert tigers.
